General Shipping Info: We ship twice a week by Canada Post to all points, including PO Boxes, in Canada and the USA, FOB our warehouse.
For clients in Canada, Greyhound Courier Express - freight collect - is also an option.
All orders are shipped out; sorry - there are no pick ups.
We offer free delivery to clients in the Shuswap (Chase - Revelstoke - Salmon Arm).

All Post shipped orders are shipped freight prepaid and shipping is charged on the invoice. We use Canada Post's Electronic Shipping Tools (EST). When your order ships out you will be sent a Shipment Notification email from Canada Post with details of your shipment. This email also contains your item number and a link if you wish to obtain the status of your shipment (tracking). Website subtotal invoice and automatic email confirmation of order does not include shipping & handling. Shipping costs will be added to the invoice when the order is shipped. Shipping by Greyhound is freight collect only.

Shipping Schedule: We ship twice a week. Our shipping days are Tuesdays and Fridays. Cutoff times for orders are 10 am the day before. If you get your order in by 10am Monday, it will ship out on Tuesday, or if in by 10am Thursday it will ship out on Friday. If you would like to double check when your order is shipping out, just email us.

Shipping & Handling Costs: We charge the exact shipping cost, as quoted in the Canada Post software at the time of shipping, plus $5 handling. The handling fee is to help cover the additional we are charged for fuel surcharges and adjustments etc. that is not quoted by the software on the items at the time of shipping, as well as the courier costs for delivering our orders to the post office. The handling fee is per order, not per piece, and does not apply to Greyhound shipped orders.
Expedited and Expedited USA are the cheapest shipping methods available. Sometimes shipping times and speed are more important than price, so we also offer faster methods that are still very cost effective. If you would like a shipping quote, please email us. We'll need your full postal mailing address, full name and phone number to enter into the shipping software database. For Greyhound Courier prices please click here to visit their web site.

Shipping costs are based on both location and volumetric weight. Volumetric weight (sometimes referred to as cube weight), means that the dimensions of the box are taken into account as well as the weight. Very large dimensionally, but light in weight boxes would be charged at a higher weight because of the large amount of space they take up vs. their weight. On average S&H works out to 10% of the value of the shipment. On many orders the shipping cost percentage is much lower due to a higher dollar value of the shipment, and/or smaller boxes/weight (a small box with essential oils might be 5% shipping cost or less). Some orders are a higher percentage when the dollar value is low and the order heavy or larger cube weight (a minimum order with a 50lb bag of a low cost item or a big bulky box of jars for example). Compared to traditional courier and truck shipping, Post and Greyhound are very economical and the best rates going.

Shipping Within Canada: We have three postal shipping methods to offer for shipments within Canada. The cheapest is Expedited, faster is Xpresspost, fastest is Priority Courier. We have no way of adding the various available options to our shipping screen, so if you would like any of the options, please email us and let us know. Please see below for shipping options available.

Expedited - *Cheapest* is a cost effective, ground parcel shipping service available to account customers only. Expedited Parcel is a fast, cost-effective, ground delivery service for parcels within Canada. Expedited Parcel is not available to consumers. It's about the same price as Regular Parcel, but almost always faster.

Expedited Delivery Standards:

Expedited Parcel delivers the next business day locally, 1 to 3 business days regionally, and 2 to 7 business days nationally between major Canadian centres. Please note some rural areas of Eastern Canada may experience a longer ship time. Service standards are based on the day of deposit (day 0) plus the number of business days required for delivery and do not include weekends and statutory holidays.

• 2 days
  - Abbotsford, Campbell River, Courtenay, Cranbrook, Crescent Valley, Dawson Creek, Galiano Island, Hornby Island, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Nakusp, Nelson, Port McNeill, Powell River, Prince George, Prince Rupert, Saltspring Island, Sidney, Sooke, Squamish, Terrace, Trail, Vancouver, Victoria, Whistler, Williams Lake and most of the rest of the Southern Interior, Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, the Sunshine Coast, most points on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.
  (please note that all the above locations -except Prince George- that are 2 days by Expedited, the software also quotes 2 days for Xpresspost and Priority Courier. Prince George quotes as 1 day by Priorty Courier.)

Please note we have experienced faster than quoted delivery times. Quite often orders shipping out on a Friday to Vancouver or Calgary by Expedited will arrive Monday rather than Tuesday as expected.

Xpresspost - *Faster* is a shipping service that provides fast delivery at a cost much less than courier. If you don't want to pay for costly courier service, Xpresspost is your smart alternative. This service is for consumers and businesses that need a faster service but want to choose their options and control their costs.

Shipping To The USA: We have three shipping methods to offer for shipments to our US clients. The cheapest is Expedited USA (at one time called Surface Parcel), faster is Xpresspost USA, fastest is Priority Worldwide. Expedited and Xpresspost USA are very cost effective and include postal customs clearance, so you won't be surprised by customs clearance fees. All shipping methods to the US do not include any applicable duties or taxes, which may be due upon delivery. However most of the products we sell are duty free under NAFTA and we have not heard of any of our US clients being charged duty. Priority Worldwide is handled by FedEx on the US side and may have additional brokerage fees (see below).

Expedited USA - *Cheapest* is the most economical ground shipping service for sending parcels to the USA. Expedited USA is for businesses shipping items that are not time-sensitive - and where saving money is the top priority. If you need to save money, you can still get reliable delivery by using Expedited USA service.

• Additional coverage against loss or damage up to $1000
• Delivery to every address and post office box in the U.S.A.

Expedited USA Delivery Standards:

Delivery expectations are within 6 to 12 business days between major urban centers from Canada to the US. We typically see about a week delivery time to most points. Often delivery times are faster than expected, for example we have been quoted 12 days delivery time for a shipment to SC, yet it actually arrived there in only 4 business days.
Generally quoted delivery times are:
• 11 days - NC, NY, RI.
• 12 days - IL, MA, OH, WI.
• 13 days - FL, TX.
• 14 days - CA, CO.
• 32 days - HI.

Xpresspost USA - *Faster* is a shipping service that provides fast delivery - at a cost much less than courier - to every address in the U.S.A., including P.O. boxes. This service is for consumers and businesses that need a fast delivery service but want to control their costs. Xpresspost - USA is a shipping service that provides fast, on-time delivery - with delivery confirmation for packages and parcels destined for USA addresses and post office boxes.

Xpresspost USA Features and Options:

• Delivery to every address and post office box in the U.S.A.

Xpresspost - U.S.A. delivers in 5-7 business days. Service standards are based on the day of deposit (day 0) plus the number of business days required for delivery and do not include weekends and statutory holidays.
Generally quoted delivery times are 6 business days to most states.

Priority™ Worldwide USA - *Fastest* is the fastest shipping service to the USA. Priority Worldwide - when you have an urgent or critical need to send packages to destinations in the USA.

Priority Worldwide Features:

• Delivery Confirmation
• Signature
• Detailed Tracking (available online at track-a-package or by calling 1-888-550-6333)
• Electronic Customs clearance
• Declared value for carriage - up to $100 included

Priority Worldwide Delivery Standards:

• Delivered through the extensive FedEx delivery network in the USA - Noon the second business day.

  Our postal code is V1E 2E6, simply enter that and your zip code and it will tell you if your order can be shipped via this method, and the delivery standard.
• Generally quoted delivery times for most states, including major cities in AK are second business day by noon. Hawaii and non-major centers are second business day by 4:30pm
• Brokerage fees for customs clearance may be charged by FedEx upon delivery. So far we have had one client experience a $20 fee for a shipment going this method.

Please note we are not responsible for delays or damage to shipments once they have left our warehouse.
